Tootsies is an institution in Nashville and famous for being the waterwhole for the artists playing at the Old Ryman Auditorium, both buildings fronting the same alley, both places with backdoors and poor light. Among the artists playing at the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium are Hank Williams, The Carter Family and Grandpa Jones.

On a road trip with a 3 day stay in Nashville, Tootsies was a must see place and besides a couple of cold beers, I bought this fantastic T-shirt.
